  Notes	In the baptism of Hannah in 1800, it describes Israel and Ellen living at "Clough in Wad". Wad is assumed to be Wadsworth. Whilst some of the records describe the occupation of the father, I do not think there is such an occupation, rather it means, particularly near the Pennines a "steep sided ravine". So presumably this is where they lived, and therefore he is a labourer rather than have a skilled occupation.

  There are internet trees that have her baptism in 1777, to Sally. However this is at Riponden, some distance away, and there is little evidence in favour of this. The data given is based on possible baptisms within 10 miles of Heptonstall, within 5 years of the birth date deduced from the burial, and the details are the best match.
