  If Joseph is alive in 1851, he is probably aged 63, widower, Shoemaker, with daughters Ann and Elizabeth, living in St Pancras, in which case he probably died in 1867, though I cannot find anything in the 1841 or 1861 Census. But this may very definitely not be him. What is clear that the family trees on the internet with him living at Tavistock is not him, it is a Joseph bapt in Lamerton in 1786.
