    • There are no obvious marriages to DEAN or DEAR, so it is assumed that they did not marry.

      The name is of course a common one, so some of the later info is speculative.
      JW Webb does appear in the Norfolk electoral rolls in 1914 and 1915, which matches where his wife was in hospital.

      Note that when he marries Mary Elizabeth, he (incorrectly) gives his age as 45
