• Notes

  At the 1891 Census are her stepdaughters Annie (10) and Alice (6), both Scholar, both born in Hitchin. At the 1900 US Census, she is 30, occ "Washinger(?)". It also records that she became a US citizen in 1892, and has had 3 children of whom 2 were still living. I assume this includes her previous marriage to Frank Warren, and so there is probably another Henderson child who died. It also gives her birth as May 1870 - this does not really match with the 1871 Census, and so is either a mistake or lie. Her birth could perhaps be May 1867? At the 1910 US Census, she is 39. At the 1920 US Census, she is 49. At the 1930 US Census, she is 60.
