    • Solon is probably Solomon.

      Note that there are some transcripts with birth given as baptism....

      At the 1871 Census, he is living with his father in law, who is a smith. Perhaps his father in law persuaded him that a wheelwright offered a slightly better living.....

      The burial records have a date of 9th crossed out to 11th. Maybe he died on 9th Oct....Slightly bizarrely he appears in the electoral roll for 1900, presumably it had been drawn up before his death.
