• Notes

  Possibly bapt 19/4/1802 in N. Tawton (to Thomas and Mary) and died Oct qtr 1840, Newington. Whilst there is no obvious connection, internet sites have his mother's maiden name as "RUDDALL" which is consistent with their son Samuel. At daughter Mary's baptism he is recorded as a "Schoolmaster", though of course this may be a mistake. I am fairly sure this is the same family.
