Notes - His move from East Lothian to London is not completely certain, but there are not many people called Thomas Lockie in London, and especially not a tailor. The 1911 Census is unclear on place of birth, but "Halls" is apparent. Halls appears to be a farm and is a more likely birthplace than the village of Spott, and so the birth place given on the transcript might actually be the church where he was baptised.
