[7] Notes - With the exception of Betty, the children put down are speculative, in that they are ones that have a mother's name that is similar to "Amy"
So for
John Cooper, the mother is "Amey"
Mary Ann, the mother is "Emma"
Hannah, the mother is "Emma"
Harriott, the mother is "Emma"
There is a possible baptism to Thomas and Emma - William bapt 10/2/1793 at Christ Church, Macclesfield. If it is their child he was most likely conceived very close (before or after) their wedding.

Notes - Info for Betty's parents based on reasonably likely match on baptism....
If she was baptised Elizabeth then there are more possibilities.
She gives her place of birth as Stockport in the 1851 Census. This is the first specific time that a place of birth is mentioned, though she was clearly in Macclesfield at her baptism. Note however that both husband and children are given as born in Macclesfield, so her entry is not an "automatic one". In later Censuses her place of birth was given as Macclesfield. Note that she and many of her presumed siblings appear to have been baptised in Macclesfield although coming from Stockport. Hence Stockport is given as the birth place
