• Notes

  This person is the best match for the name, and whilst it is surprising to move from Yorkshire, Yorks, Lancs and Cheshire is where the Holts appear to come from originally. Aaron's name is HOLT at baptism and burial but HOULT at marriage and when his children are baptised He and Sarah may also have had a child Ann, chr Baldock 8/12/1782 but the gap in time is surprising.... His burial says he was 70 (ie born 1837) but the 1840 record is the only online record that is in any way consistent. National Burial Index says he was buried at St Nicholas, Stevenage
