Notes - Possibly James Keay Rattray Anderson, given the surnames of his maternal grandparents. However, there appears to be no records of somebody with all these names, except for one instance recorded below.
Family story had that he was wounded at the Battle of Mons.
There is a record of a marriage in the Dundee Courier on 26 Feb 1945 between James Keay Rattray ANDERSON and Margaret Ann MILNE at St Luke's manse in Lochee. The article says that James is the 2nd son of Mr and Mrs J Anderson (which matches our James KR Anderson). However Mr J Anderson has certainly died and it is highly likely that Mrs (Rattray) Anderson has too. However this may be ok if this is how the article was meant to read. Margaret Milne's parents are Mr and Mrs R WATSON, and so she was a widow when she married...so she might be quite old. But I can find no clear records for Margaret Watson or Milne. It describes JKR Anderson as "B.L.A", which might be British Liberation Army - a WW2 abbreviation for the forces that fought in Europe, and therefore not our JKR Anderson. So, on balance the marriage notice probably refers to somebody else.
