Notes - Most probably marries Susannah HOOPER 2/10/1811 in Willian. Susannah maybe was bapt 21/7/1793 in Willian to Benjamin and Mary, and died Jul qtr 1845. Whilst there is no particular reason to assume this is right, it is believable, and is the basis for the 1841 Census details adopted.
The 1841 Census also has a 15 year old girl. Ancestry translates it as "Mary Matthews", however there definitely appears to be a "ditto" symbol over the edge of the box. The 1851 Census, assuming it is still the same person, and this is likely given the occupation given, has Mary HILLSDEN, wife of Charles. The later information for this Mary has in some records a likely Mary Martha Hooper HILLSDEN, and so almost certainly the person baptised in Willian in 1826 to James and Susan. "Mary Martha Do." is definitely a possible transliteration of the entry in the 1841 Census, and hence the later Censuses for James are considered reasonable.
