    • The last Bann was published 1/12/1839. IGI have a transcript of the marriage at 2/12, ie the following day. Given that Sarah was born in Feb the following year, I imagine that the marriage followed as quickly as possible, so the following day seems entirely reasonable.

    • Amelia's birth and parents are unclear.

      Her reporting in the Census was consistent to say birth 1811 in Heptonstall. The most likely scenario is that the age is correct, and thus Honley (about 18 miles away) born 7/7/1813 to Stephen and Martha, bapt at Honley Independent chapel (20/9/1813) seems the most likely. Alternatively Milly bapt 1/7/1806 in Heptonstall to John and Mary is possible.
