Notes - Mary's surname deduced from the only internet record of a marriage from 1785 to 1805 in Lancashire to Richard Turner. So not conclusive but seems highly likely. The other possibilities were a marriage in Blackburn in 1797, and 1795 in Wigan. Both these are more than 20 miles away compared with 4 to Radcliffe (where James was born).
