    • There is no obvious evidence for Edward's birth, or indeed is death either.

      He does not appear to be in the 1841 Census, and so had probably died. The lack of obvious children after 1815 suggests he died sooner, maybe 1819.

      As for his birth, the most obvious from the internet records is of a baptism transcript for 17/3/1776 in Manchester, son of John and Elizabeth.
