Notes - The 1851 Census which gives her birth location is "Gamblingay", however there is no such place. Since the enumerator would not have known Cambridgshire, it is assumed that he misheard and/or Sarah (who was head of household) was not clear when she spoke.
IGI has a Sarah RATFORD born to John and Ann, bapt 24/3/1780 at Gamlingay. So this is perhaps a transcription error, and she was bapt 1770?
At the 1851 Census is her granddaughter Maria, aged 12, but no obvious link in 1841 Census or later....
The burial records say she was 85 when she died.
