  George does not obviously appear in censuses, death indexes or emmigration after 1891, nor is there any obvious record of his wife or son. He gives his surname as FREEMAN in 1861, 71, 81 and 91 Censuses. Note also there is a nephew Thomas BALLARD in 1881, maybe 2, but unclear, born Bethnal Green.
