• Notes

  Parents were Thomas and Jane (nee PENDLEBURY) There are a number of possible deaths, but most likely seems to be in Barton, near to Preston Apr qtr 1939, aged 86. Confusingly there is a death the same quarter (20/4/1939) in Manchester, but the will does not match the family and is too far from the last known residence in Blackpool in 1917. I can find no sensible record for the 1891 Census. If she is in it, then for instance there is a mistake which means nobody of the right age is in the UK, nor anybody who is within 10 years of the correct age in Lancashire.
