    • Rather too many possible John Mothersole's christened in the right part of Suffolk on IGI to be sure about parentage, however the Drinkstone one is best in terms of dates and the next time he appears at Woolpit. The transcription says "bb", and there is no father mentioned.

      Next most likely is probably a birth in 1772 in Bury St Edmunds.....
