    • There appears to be another Edward born to them, Q2 1867. There are various possible deaths, but most likely also Q2 as there is no record of a baptism, as there is with the other children

  • Notes
    • He seems to have been a Baptist (family sources). Whilst there is no clear support for this, the Manchester Evening News of 15/12/1926 reports the following:-
      ----------------------------------------
      OLD FOLKS' TEA
Mr Edward Turner is the hon treasurer for a fund for organising a tea and ?treat? for old folks on January 17. The fund is organised in conjunction with Grosvenor Street Baptist Church, Chorlton-on-Medlock, and Mr Turner's address is 5, Pembroke Grove, Plymouth Grove, Manchester.
Would you permit me to ..........
      -----------------------------------------

Also at the 1911 Census is Elizabeth Bradshaw, aunt, aged 63, unmarried - is this his mother's sister?

There are no clear indications of what happens next, but there is a death Q3, 1934, Manchester North, aged 68 which is consistent with the other information.
