  He married Grace Rosina FOREMAN Jan qtr 1927, Southwark (born 8/10/1907 from 1939 Register). I have located them at 58, Poplar Walk Road, Norwood in 1937; same address as in 1939 Register. He was in the Royal Tank Corps (joined as a Labourer) from 14/3/1921 (aged "18 and 130 days" - actually more like 17 years and 130 days) until 7/1/1922. This age misrepresentation also appears in the 1921 Census. Reg No 7872818. Home address (for mother) 65, Lorrimore Road, Walworth, SE17. Character described as "good". (Data taken from Royal Tank Corps records). The basis of discharge (para 392 xva) appears to relate to somebody who needs to care for a destitute parent or other relative and therefore suggests that Henrietta Mary Ann needed help. At the 1954 Phone book he is living at 11, Parsonage Manorway, Belvedere, Kent.
