  Marries Mary Elizabeth EDGE, also from Macclesfield, in Burton on Trent 24/7/1871. Both were living in Burton at the time, James is a Cooper (see also 1871 Census). James is named in an Victualler's licence application on 9 Jan 1877 in Macclesfield.
