Notes - The available data on Charlotte is unclear and in some cases conflicting. The date of her baptism is assumed correct; she and 2 siblings were baptised together, the father listed as deceased, so it seems possible that she was the youngest and baptised following the death of her father. The 1939 Register records a DOB of 23/12/1855, so presumably she was sure of her birthday and so I have guessed the year as 1854. Census's and marriages give contradicatory ages.
Charlotte was unlucky (or worse)... Robert MONGER was alive at the 1881 Census, but by 1885 she had married Thomas Moore, however by Q4 1888 she was marrying Charles POWELL (in Petersfield). Charles was in hospital at the 1939 Register and he died very soon afterwards (Q4, 1939).
According to the 1881 Census, her daughter Louisa was 9, ie born 1872.
