• Notes

  Emma Merrington's school records say she started on 16/2/1880 at Boxmoor Infants, and left 2/9/1884. A log from 26/5/1884 says that she was sent home for her schooling and did not return. The next record says she started 25/2/1886 with a comment "re-admitted" and left 3/3/1886. No father is given in any records including birth and baptism records. She is not with husband George at either 1911 nor 1921 Censusses. However there is no obvious divorce either. At 1921 she is living with Alfred PALMER, who is apparent in the Electoral Rolls from 1919 (See George Henry Webb notes)
