"William L. Roberts, 79, of 466 East Lawn Road, Nazareth, died Thursday in St. Luke's Hospital. He was the husband of Mamie S. (Smith) Roberts.
He was a machinist for the Hercules Cement Co., Stockertown, for 44 years before retiring in 1972.
Born in Slatington, he was a son of the late Robert G. and Kathryn (Morris) Roberts.
He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Nazareth.
Surviving with his widow are a son, William A. of Nazareth; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Weaver and Mrs. Rita Longyhore, both of Bangor, and Mrs. William Ray of Pen Argyl and Mrs. Elsie Reppert of Easton; a brother Edward of Wind Gap and two granddaughters.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Bensing Funeral Home, Moorestown. Calling hours will be 7-9 p.m. Sunday."
