Notes - The 1911 Census is interesting in that Emma has not signed it. However as best as I can tell it appears to match her writing from her marriage certificate, so she probably did fill it in. The enumerator on the following page has put "Mrs Webb" in as the householder. In the householder place on the census, she has written "William Webb", presumably being her oldest (surviving?????) son, although it looks as if she started to write "Thomas....", being her oldest son on the premises.
She reports 5 children alive and 5 having died in this census.
Have found Emma in Electoral Rolls up to 1927 in Elsa St., Stepney
Her DOB does not match the 1871 Census, but this one has been picked as the father matches that on her marriage certificate. There is an Emma SADLER in the 1861 Census (where the father appears to be a widow), but still no birth record whatever year is picked. It is of course possible that she was born about 1860 but subsequently grew up thinking it was 1863....
