  Notes	There is a considerable distance (15 miles on foot) from Winfrith, where Joseph comes from, to Hilton, where Martha had her church and they were married. However, this seems to be the most obvious match of the records available, and since their first child is baptised in Owermoigne, it suggests that they met in the Winfrith area, and returned to her home church for the wedding. I have therefore restricted the checks on Martha's baptism to very close to Hilton, with the results given
