Notes - Christopher appears to have been in Ireland (in Cork) at the 1921 Census. The Census was taken on 19 June, so after the partition of Ireland (3 May) but before the formal truce on 11 July. There had been significant fighting around the area ever since the original uprising in 1916, though presumably Christopher did not go there before he was 18, ie 1920, unless he lied about his age. I have been unable to find army records of Christopher and so it is not obvious what he did while in Ireland.
He marries Edna CROFT Jan qtr 1929, Manchester South
