Notes - His merchant navy records say he was a 5th Engineer, 5' 6", blue eyes, brown hair, fair complexion with no distinguishing marks. It is not clear how long he was in the Navy, but he only served on one ship, and he was discharged on or by 13/5/1922. At the 1921 Census, he is employed at the dockyard, so it is presumably after that (19/6/1921 to be exact) that he served in the Merchant Navy.
When he signed his discharge papers and for much of his life following, he was known as Clive Juniper.
From 1924 to 1931 he was at Speltham, Hambledon, with Edward and Annie Juniper.
When he died he was married to Olive May SILVESTER (Q1 1934, Droxford, Hants). The Portsmouth Evening News of 17 Mar 1934 says that he was married in Hambleton on 14th March.
