  • Notes
    • At 1911 Census he is in staff accommodation for Messrs Frederick Gorringe ltd, who were drapery business including a shop on Buckingham Palace Road.

Navy records indicate that he was married to Emmie (which from other data is CROOKE, Jul qtr 1914, Richmond). The 1921 Census is consistent with this, with her siblings Ernest and Mabel CROOK, present. Her name is given as Emma Mary Josephine.

He was injured 5/6/1916 on board ship (not clear which), he was 5' 5", brown hair and eyes.

He is not obvious in the 1939 Register.
