  Notes	The marriage is almost certainly the correct details, hence it is included. William gives Richard's occupation as ?Corn - factor??? but then it implies that he is also father to William's bride, so maybe not too much care has been taken with this. Richard had died 8 years earlier, and maybe the professions were suffiiciently similar. Likewise this is the only place where Hannah is Hannah Latham ROBINSON, but one of the witnesses is her sister Sarah Ann. There does not appear to be any consistent alternative for Hannah, and certainly nothing that implies Latham as a middle name - clearly something important as their son has Latham as a middle name

  Internet sources quote 15/9/1861 as the DOB but as far as I can see there is no evidence for this date. Marries Sarah Ann WHALLEY 20/2/1882 at Prestbury in Cheshire. Although they seem to remain married in her registering things, he appears to be married to Ellen (perhaps nee READ) in 1901 and 1911. At the 1883 Slaters directory for Manchester and Salford he is listed as a joiner at 16, Strawberry Hill, Pendleton. In the 1918 Electoral Roll, he is living at 32, Russell St., Kennington.
