Notes - Most of the information for the family makes sense, but there are still some uncertainties.
The marriage of William and Ann notes that William came from Gt Yarmouth and Ann from Somerlyton, which is possibly a reason for them moving there. I would like to have found an Ann baptised in Yarmouth immediately after the marriage, who might then have died, but cannot see any such person. The chosen marriage also has a marriage licence, in which William is noted as a mariner. The licence is dated 25 Aug, hence the marriage is assumed to have taken place in Aug, and very probably on the same day as the licence was provided.
Somerleyton and Herringfleet are very close to each other, so it is reasonable that the younger children were baptised in Herringfleet. Although there is a William and Elizabeth there, there does not seem to be an obvious alternative couple to our one, though there is a William Ellis marrying Susannah Marshal in Gt Yarmouth in 1758. The fact that there is a record of this Ann dieing in Herringfleet but being buried in Somerleyton is very significant.
