Notes - Some of the sources I have looked at have the marriage in Dull, although some sources indicate that they were married in Weem, which is now a neighbouring parish. Dull is preferred as this appears to be Elizabeth's home parish. The situation is complicated by the fact that the parish boundaries were changed in 1889, so it is possible that they were married in Weem, especially as the information comes from transcripts of the original document.
They were tenant farmers in Murthly, near Dunkeld.
