Peter swears before the curate who did the ceremony on the same day (and presumably before) the ceremony that there was no reason not to marry, and because he was 20, (she was 21), there were two people (who also witnessed the marriage), Richard POTTS and Thomas JORDAN, who swore that his father, Samuel, did not object to the marriage.
